Lightning Lounge set for April 22

The next UNM Faculty Lightning Lounge is April 22 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in Zimmerman Library’s Waters Room.
You are invited to hear colleagues give short talks about their research, creative works, teaching or outreach. Time is available for questions during and after the event, and you’ll be able to meet new people, network and learn.
This month's presenters will be:
- Anna Nogar, professor of Spanish and Portuguese, who will present on "U.S. Latinx Digital Humanities: Auroera Lucero White-Lea's Interactive Biographical Timeline"
- Jake Greenberg, Lecturer II in University College, and Chemistry and Chemical Biology, who will present on "Expanding Early Undergraduate Research at UNM"
- Lydia Tapia, professor of computer science, who will present "In AI We Trust. Should We?"
- Fabiano Amorim, associate professor of health, exercise and sports sciences, who will discuss "Heat Stress: The Kidney in a Vulnerable State."
Lightning Lounge is hosted by ADVANCE at UNM, the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Office of Academic Affairs and the Office of the Vice President for Research.
