UNM will be hosting a "Know Your Rights" presentation on Oct. 14, led by Amber Weeks and Olsi Vrapi, attorneys with the Vrapi Weeks law firm in Albuquerque.

The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Union Building Ballroom A. It is open to all UNM students, faculty and staff. No registration or RSVP is necessary.

The session will focus on immigrant rights, travel considerations, and U.S. permanent resident options. After the 30- to 40-minute presentation, there will be a Q&A segment.

The presentation is a joint initiative between the Office of Academic Affairs, United Academics of UNM (UA-UNM), and the Graduate and Professional Student Association.
