University Faculty and Instructor Awards
UNM offers a range of awards to recognize exceptional faculty achievements on the basis of application or nomination and comprehensive review processes. While some colleges, schools, and branches maintain their own awards, the following are UNM awards open to faculty and instructors meeting various criteria. | Previous Awardees These awards recognize each year faculty members whose scholarly and creative achievements are especially noteworthy for their stage in career. This award was established in 2020 by the Office of the Provost, in collaboration with the Research Policy Committee of the Faculty Senate. Awards are given to faculty members who have achieved tenure and promotion to Associate Professor and promotion to Professor in the past year. Candidates are identified by the Provost’s Tenure and Promotion Advisory Committee. | ||
