The Office of Academic Affairs is hosting the fall New Graduate Assistantship Orientation on Aug. 12 to help those new to the role get started with what they need to succeed.

The all-day event will be held in the Centennial Engineering Center’s Larrañaga Engineering Auditorium begins with check-in at 8 a.m., with orientation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided.

The orientation is open to new graduate assistants, project assistants, research assistants and teaching assistants on the Albuquerque campus

Additional information and registration information can be found on the Office for Academic Personnel website. All new graduate assistants starting in August should plan to attend and should register at this link.

• Supports for effective teaching
• Student conduct, due process and CARE
• College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences services

• Policies, norms and processes to prevent discrimination at UNM
