Academic Forecasting Tool & Reports

Academic Forecasting Tool:

The Academic Forecasting Tool is designed to help units look at faculty, course and financial data collectively to develop strategic forecasts for their academic unit. Banner Authorization Request (BAR) is required to access the Academic Forecasting Tool. The BAR role needed to access the tool is: ROM Forecasting Tool role, which can be requested at: https://bar.unm.edu.

In the Academic Forecasting Tool the user will have access to training materials and access to the tool.

  • Academic Forecasting Tool will open February 1st 2016
  • Overview Presentation will be January 28th 1:30-3:00pm in the Robert’s Room (Scholes Hall)
  • Multiple working sessions have been scheduled for the following dates:
    • 2/9/16 10am-12pm TEC 260
    • 2/17/16 1pm-3pm TEC 260
    • 2/23/16 10am-12pm TEC 260
    • 3/1/16 10am-12pm TEC 260
  • Academic Forecasting Tool will close March 11th 2016 for Schools/Colleges

Academic Reports:

The Academic reports are designed to help units validate information entered into the Academic Forecasting Tool and monitor projections with actual data in real time. Additional reports are also accessible in the ROM reports portal, which include useful fiscal and academic data. Banner Authorization Request (BAR) is required to access the ROM reports portal in MyReports. The BAR role needed to access the reports portal is: ROM Reports College role for college administrators or the ROM Reports Department role for department administrators, which can be requested at: https://bar.unm.edu.
